Matthew James Bellamy (born in Cambridge, England, June 9, 1978, age 32 years) is a vocalist, guitar, harmonium, composer and pianist of the famous rock band from the UK, Muse. He grew up in the city of Teignmouth in Devon in southern England. His father was a guitarist from British music group in 1950-1960s, The Tornados, which is the first British group that managed to occupy the top U.S. charts before the Beatles, with his album "Telstar". Her mother, Marilyn, was an immigrant from Ireland.
