Dominic Howard
Dominic James Howard (born in Stockport, England, December 7, 1977, age 33 years) is the drummer for British band, Muse.
He was born in Stockport, not far from Manchester. 8-9 years when he moved with his family to Teignmouth, a small town in Devon 'riviera'. He played only one instrument in the band's music: drums. He started at around 11, when he was hit by a jazz band performing at school. He can also play a little guitar. He also tried his brother electronic keyboard at age 5. Through her sister, who was attending the School of Arts, he began to have his first contacts with the art world, though in no way associated with future jobs.

In 2004, Howard's father, William Howard, came to watch Muse at Glastonbury Festival. Only after they had finished, William died of a heart attack. The band then cancel other performances include a tour of Italy and Roskilde Festival. The band released a statement "In a very difficult time, we ask that the privacy of family and friends of Dom respected".
In a session where he and Bellamy to answer questions from fans, Howard declared that he was alive or dead, he most liked to meet with Jimi Hendrix.
On September 26, 2008, Howard, along with Bellamy and Wolstenholme, was awarded the Honorary Doctorate of Arts from the University of Plymouth
